With their massive, show-stopping blooms — often the size of a dinner plate — these dahlias are the stars of any arrangement or garden. Their perfectly layered petals and dramatic presence make them a favourite for weddings, events, and statement bouquets. Available in a wide range of rich, vibrant colours, Dinnerplate Dahlias bring elegance, movement, and visual impact wherever they’re used. Each bloom is a masterpiece of nature — bold, lush, and breathtakingly beautiful.

Dinnerplate and Decorative Dahlias can be sent by courier or air. We hydrate the flowers overnight on the farm and pack them in water bags to help them stay fresh.
However, these flowers are very delicate and sometimes don’t travel well. This can lead to damage or a shorter vase life. It’s important that customers know this when ordering. By buying these flowers, you accept this risk.

These dahlias are not recommended for resale and are best used for floral arrangements only.

Best Practices for Keeping Buckets Clean for Flower Transport:
1.    Clean Immediately After Use:
Rinse buckets thoroughly with warm water right after emptying flowers. Remove any plant debris, leaves, or dirt stuck inside to prevent bacterial buildup.
2.    Use a Mild Cleaning Solution:
Wash buckets with a gentle soap or floral bucket cleaner. Alternatively, a diluted bleach solution (about 1 tablespoon bleach per gallon of water) can disinfect the bucket well. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning to remove any residue.
3.    Sanitize Regularly:
Even if buckets look clean, sanitize them regularly with a floral-safe sanitizer or the bleach solution mentioned above to kill bacteria and fungi that shorten flower vase life.
4.    Dry Completely Between Uses:
After cleaning, let buckets dry completely upside down to avoid standing water where bacteria can thrive.
5.    Use Fresh Water for Transport:
Always fill buckets with fresh, cool water mixed with a floral preservative before loading flowers. Change the water if transport time is extended.
